My name is Kristina Ryan.
I live in Des Moines, IA and I am 21 years old. I love traveling around in my SUV turned camper, climbing mountains, connecting with other humans, and making the perfect cup of coffee. I never pretend to have all the answers. I’m trying to figure out this big world and what it means to live in a meaningful way every single day.
This blog is dedicated to breaking down my own personal barriers to self -discovery, solo traveling and physical endurance.
I will be traveling the world full time starting in September, and I want to share with you exactly how I will be doing that. I will share my resources, my thoughts, the process, tips, tricks and any other discovery I make towards solo traveling as a female.
I will be running my first 50k in September and so this blog will be utilized to show you how I train and my own personal quarrels with accomplishing such a task. I’ve ran a half marathon before but otherwise I have no training with running and actually used to despise running. I’m hoping I can shed some light on overcoming this.
I am constantly on a path to self acceptance and self love in a world that suggests we do otherwise. I have my own true battles with anxiety, depression and self hatred. I won’t ignore it. In fact, I dig DEEP into it and this page will clearly display all of my own struggles and how I overcome them. Self love is at the core of achieving true happiness, in my opinion. Self acceptance and self love is the path to success in all other areas of life. It leads to connection, motivation, a healthy body, a healthy mind, and a healthy life.
It also is inevitably one of the hardest things to truly obtain and work through. In this blog, I share my own ways of overcoming this.
